June 2013 challenge

This month I need to start prepping for a big hiking trip I have coming this summer.  I realize after this weekend, when I did a trail run, that my overall fitness level is not quite where I want it to be.

Now I did see an amazing and definitely killer squat challenge over here.  While it sound enticing my overall leg strength is not my primary goal right now.  So instead I am planning to do a minimum of 30 – 45 minutes of running/walking/hiking/biking/workout DVDs/etc  for 5x/week.

Main goal = improve overall fitness for hiking trip.  So far good start with a 10k on Saturday.
